Does This Mean We Finally Have Permission to be Happy?

A friend just emailed me a link to an article in U.S. News and World Report

Madison Avenue has created a new kind of mother to reflect the latest work-family trends. Dubbed "alpha moms," they project independence, balance, and competence at both work and home, in contrast to past images of harried working moms and ├╝ber-domestic stay-at-home moms.....

Are advertisers bridging the gap between work outside the home moms and stay at home moms?
Are they actually giving women permission to stop beating ourselves up and we can have it all?
What do you think?
