Someone stop this ride, I want to get off.....

So the storm has started and I am stuck here in the house.....with my family in it's entirety.
Everyone in my extended family & my husband's family over the age of 60 keep calling to make sure none of us are "still out in this weather".
I have this HUGE party planned for Saturday night and all my around-the-house chores are pretty much finished...except for cleaning the bathrooms which I do at the very last possible moment due to the fact that my family cannot swish their own toothpaste spit out of the sink or manage to actually pee IN the bowl (my daughter included).
Mother Nature has blessed our part of the country with spattering of "White Christmas" in the form of 6-10".
The schools have dismissed early. Usually not a big deal, however they have dismissed early the past 2 days due to parent/teacher conferences. I have had at least one child in tow at all times, each day.
....my dear husband, whom I love & cherish, has been around this week waiting for the water guy to deliver water for our backyard rink......(remember me? I'm the chick that wrote about how hockey is so good for kids?.....blah, blah, blah...)
So the hubby...."Hi Honey!"(he reads Trish's Blog)......put a small crimp (see how nice I'm being?) in my run-around-and-get-stuff-done day yesterday by having me hold boards while he nails them in place on the rink so the water guy can come today.
So Hubby is home early again today for water delivery......all 4 of us are here. Home in the middle of the day on a Thursday. This reminds me of why we don't book a vacation for 2 weeks in a row anymore.
Oh....and by the way.... The water guy cancelled. He says he's stuck on I495 on the side of the road. Poor Guy. I wish I was with him.
Another round of peanut butter sandwiches.
More TV.
More hot cocoa....we are out of marshmallows now.
More......"Mom! She's bugging me!"....or....."Mom! It's my turn to watch my shows!"
Here comes the plow. I think I'll go out there and hitch a ride. Maybe he will take me out to the mall where I need to spend money we don't have.
Bah Humbug. Blech.
Just needed to vent.......thanks for listening........I will be better tomorrow.
I have a nail appointment at 1pm. I just may kiss my nail girl square on the lips.

Suggestion? Coffee and Bailey's Irish Cream. That always gets me through the snow days!
